Application
Octyl Salicylate is an effective UV-B absorber with a UV absorbance(E 1%/ 1cm) of min.165 at 305 nm for various applications.
It is a safe and world-wide effective UV-B absorber and it is oil soluble and can therefore be used in water-resistant sunscreens.It is used for products with low and -in combination with other UV filters - high sun protection factors.
